In literal terms, the world achieved a global village status with the inception and enhancement of the internet. Despite the positive outlay of the internet, it has changed the way humans think and brain functionality.     

Discussion

The internet can be blamed for changing the course of thought in humans. Media theorist Marshall McLuhan says, “Media are not just passive channels of information. They supply the stuff of thought, but they also shape the process of thought.” The internet is a medium, which enables easy access to information as required by the interested party. It is a positive impact considering the volumes of material available and in-depth enhancement. However, the thought process is shaped, as individuals cannot seek out their own research. It shaped through the as find method and applicability within the provisions contained in the internet. Hence, it dictates the process enabled in human brains due to the content.

Attention of human thinking requires detailed and enough timing depending on the subject in question. Through a thought-through process, the brain is able to develop faster mechanisms of reasons and achieving the results required. However, the internet is changing such brain mechanisms. Through quick links, pop up messages, notifications and advertisements, attention of the human brain is changed in an instant. The ease of information acquisition places the human life into considerable and easier mechanisms of function ability and relay of the achieved data and findings. Sergey Brin and Larry Page state that, “The ultimate search engine is something as smart as people- or smarter.” It is the epitome in, which Google is founded. Humans can therefore; through the medium have, their intentions predicted for faster and easier availability of required information. It also serves to connect people through the similarity binding of their enable through processes. It rectifies and helps in functionality of preferential findings for each specific individual.
