Response to Sherry Browning

Sherry finds that the most challenging aspect of business is ensuring fairness and justice (Mello, 2014). I agree with her pointing out that most of the challenges are because of the complexity of regulations and federal laws that affect HR professionals (Lawrence & Weber, 2013). She gives a survey that proves this point because of the HR complaints or lawsuits. Taking into consideration matters that affect other groups and the legislation protecting them such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), shows that Sherry has researched on some of the complexities that she had earlier mentioned. She understands that obedience of the law is important but she believes that the progress of the company mostly lies with the employees. Regardless, her response shows that the law must prevail and that the employees can find a way to improve customer-business relations.

Response to Cinthia Tebo

The first part of Cynthia’s answer titled, “DQ #1” gives a detailed description of where she works explaining that the company sends out caregivers and other services to the places most convenient for them. It is agreeable that such services could only mean that the company understands the need to have satisfied clients, and that is one of the most important aspects of analyzing customer behavior and responses (Mello, 2014). In addition, Cinthia explains that her company of employment offers training that keeps the industry healthy and with better performances. The awarding of the best caregiver in the occasional quarterly recognitions is another aspect that shows that the company uses incentives that encourage performance. In the second part titled “DQ #2” Cinthia talks of what she finds most challenging about the current business. She mentions the challenges that have come up due to technological advancements as she gives a personal example of her current working place (Noel, 2009). In addition, I agree with her suggestion on how to keep up with the changing technologies, especially with the use of newsletters such as the case at “Contemporary Care At Home.”
