I am a student in this institution currently in my final year of studies. I am writing this letter as a proposal to finding a way forward in fighting racial discrimination and segregation in schools. It will also highlight some of the effects of, class, and nationality on educational opportunities of an individual.

This proposal will describe at length some of my experiences, and findings on the cause and effects of racial discrimination in the education system. Racial discrimination is a major problem in learning institutions, and this negatively affects the victim’s education. This is fueled by the competition on economic superiority among nations worldwide. When a country is economically more superior, the natives tend to discriminate those from the poorer countries, especially the minority groups. It is also fueled by the teachers, who fail to instill a culture of cohesion and unity amongst students, as some of them are at the forefront of discrimination. I would like to suggest some of the possible solutions to this problem. Schools should formulate strict policies on racial discrimination, which covers the administration staff. The education system needs to be readjusted to accommodate students from the minority groups.

I found it necessary and prudent to present this proposal to you because our institution needs change and reform in light of the issue discussed above. If you, as part of the administration, would take up the proposal and implement it, I believe we will solve this problem. Your office is influential and bears senior authority, especially in such matters. I found it best suited to share this proposal it.
