Leadership Management

Leadership management is an important facet of my inclination towards managing my personal growth. Normally, with my occupation, I usually encounter a myriad of challenges. The challenges either result based on my relationship with my colleagues at work or the clients that I get to interact with on a daily basis. Because of this, it may actually be difficult for me to grow individually and professionally based on the impact that such issues impose. Aside from the effect on growth, failure to address the issue can result in strained relationships between the clients and me or the employees and me. Nonetheless, these associations are imperative since they assist the organization in growing financially and socially. This further establishes the reason as to why it is important to ensure positive client-employee relations throughout the organization. In this respect, leadership management will involve certain steps that will be geared towards the development and management of my personal growth.

One of the main steps concerning this comprises the increase in public relations. As mentioned before, good relationships between the clients, the employee and the organization are important especially in amplifying the performance of the overall company. Furthermore, positive relations will lead to the establishment of a fair and just public image or reputation for the organization. This will further enable it to appeal to more clients and even investors. Personally, increasing public relations at work will enable me to solve the problems that I have been experiencing regarding working in groups and decision-making. Concerning this step of action, the increase in public relations will be important in managing my personal growth. One way of application involves reading books based on leadership. Additionally, ensuring that leadership management also comprises learning from the experiences of different people. In addition, the amplification in communication can also result in positive relationships between the respective members.

Anger/Hostility Management

Another aspect of my tendency towards the management of personal growth involves handling personal or collective negative attitudes and behaviors within the organization. Learning as to how to carry out anger or hostility management is important for my career and the overall organization. This is because of the impact that such an activity imposes especially on the reputation of the company. Aside from this, understanding and practicing this form of management assists me considerably especially in dealing with different types of customers as well as employees. Based on this, certain aspects have been identified. These facets are responsible for guiding my focus on personal growth via the management of anger or hostility in the workplace. As such, the concentration on this type of management will be geared towards resolving the way I handle clients, employees, and myself in terms of emotions.

Thus, one of the main strategies that can assist me in managing anger or hostility comprises relaxation. When a person is under high pressure especially within the organization, it may negatively affect how he or she controls his or her emotions. In this case, without relaxation, it may be impossible to handle emotional personal growth. This is because of the susceptibility that a high-pressure workplace environment creates. Based on this, it is important to ensure that I am relaxed in this particular situation. In order to be in that state, I should ensure that I am not testy. Irritability can actually cause a defunct or strain in the relationship that I have with my employees and my clients as well. In terms of application, I should ensure that I do not act out my thoughts especially if I am in a fit of anger. I should wait for the emotion to subside, which will further assist in calmness in my thoughts.

Time Management

Time is also a crucial factor to consider in reference to the management of personal growth. Usually, it is imperative for me to abide by punctuality due to the impact I may pose on business activities if I fail to keep time. In this respect, time does not solely involving arriving to the place of work on a timely basis. It also involves other compelling matters such as the completion of projects on time. Companies invest considerable resources in the establishment of projects. Of such assets, time is commonly referred as a very important resource in relation to the effect it may pose on the company depending on how well or bad it is utilized. For me, the problem of keeping time relates significantly to delays in completing the tasks that I have been assigned to complete for the organization.

However, specific steps can be utilized in eradicating the behavior of procrastination. One of these involves breaking down a huge and surmountable task into more diminutive and reasonable pieces. Usually, if I am unable to complete a task due to issues such as insufficient sleeping or poor work functioning, I normally encounter an intense fear of rejection due to my complacency. Nonetheless, breaking down the task can destroy such hesitation and influence momentum. Additionally, thinking of the harm that a delayed task can impose is also another way of eliminating procrastination. Modification of the environment for eradicating limitations and barriers can also be assistive in eradicating procrastination. In order to reinforce a timely behavior, I can also reward myself for achievement or even punish myself if I fail to keep time. Lastly, it is also important to recognize the loss and consequences of procrastination and search for incentives while comparing the profit that I will receive from the action.
