Introversion

A person’s expression of energy is usually determined to be of either extraversion or introversion (Schultz and Schultz 32). The source and direction of energy in introversion are mainly towards the internal world. Feelings of inward turning based on psychic contents of the subjective nature are associated with an introvert individual. This is further built on by the attitude of the person in relation to external objects in this case that refer to the external world.

An example of introversion can be associated with individuals who prefer being in isolation other than in a group of people. Such individuals take part in activities that are of solitary nature, these include fishing, hiking, reading and using computers alone. I agree on the results of introversion trait on dimensions in human personality theories. This is according to my experience as an individual with such traits of solitary expression.

Intuition

This refers to how an individual perceives anything to deal with information. Information released can be received through direction from the external world or mainly through imaginative or internal world. Intuition is based on the trust of abstract concepts together with imagined possibilities. This can also refer to use of sensory organs in dealing with information received on an internal judgment that is devoid of the external world direction.

An example of intuition can be associated to how an individual receives news of a sensitive matter like the case of danger. Intuition will necessitate an individual to trust his or her own instincts without getting feedback from the external world. How the individual will react to the matter will depend on the judgment of the impending nature of the danger. I agree that intuition forms the basis of judgment as an individual on reception of news.

Feeling

Feeling refers to how the individual processes the received information. The two methods are usually split on thinking and emotion. With thinking, the individual makes a decision after logically evaluating the information given and considerations applied to the nature of the information. As for emotion, the individual uses internal perception and judgment as to what he or she is supposed to do considering the information received at the time.

An example of feeling can be applied when disciplining a child who has done wrong. According to logic, the child should be punished depending on the gravity of the mistake. In terms of feeling through emotion, leniency may prevail while alternative measures are sought to achieve the same target of disciplining the child. I agree with the results of feeling especially by the introvert using emotion in making decision without external interference.

Perceiving

Perceiving refers to how an individual implements the information that she or he has processed and understood. Judging requires organization of all the related events and sticks to the same as a rule on his or her plans. Perceiving requires the individual to explore alternatives or improvise options without necessarily being restricted. Judging is inclined to oriented facts from the information while judging is through imagined possibilities.

An example of application in perceiving can be attributed to an individual who is faced with a choice on purchase. According to the basis of judging, one is inclined to buy according to either the quality or pricing of the product without compromise. According to perceiving, the individual opts to check on alternative qualities like the source of the product, whether it is environment friendly without necessarily being restricted.
