Disciplining executives and other subordinates in modern organizations should be done using ethical and moral approaches. This ensures that disciplining an employee is done using effective styles and based on truthful information (Smith, Sonnenfeld, & Pellow, 2006). Falsified allegations and bias may influence claims against employees, which should be investigated before decisions on disciplining an employee are taken by the management. In addition, justice also amounts to providing n employee who faces allegations and accusations of misconduct with an appropriate platform to provide his or her individual accounts on the allegations leveled against them. Justice amounts to ensuring fairness in terms of information from parties contesting a decision without favor or any form of bias. In addition, in the case of employee misconduct discipline actions should be done in line with existing rules and regulations pertaining to specific issues of employee misconduct.
