Furthermore, an enhanced management approach for the operating room in the medical facility could be achieved using basic principles of operating room management. Maintaining consistency within the institution could enhance the quality of service provided as well as saving the lives of patients during the night shift.

Operating room utilization and efficiencies can be enhanced if the hospital is able to achieve optimum staffing levels with respect to the merging needs and trends in the institution.
