Introduction

Cloud based services are both in public and private form. These services offer solutions that offer benefits both in business and in handling technical areas. The benefits often include efficiency such that they run on infrastructures that are automated, simple, and less expensive in management. Similarly, it is possible to turn IT to an operational one because they do not depend on local server resources (Buyya, Broberg & Gościński, 2011). In addition to this, most servers are able to use the technology that allows one server to host multiple servers and at the same time allow each of these servers to own an operating system and its own applications. Generally, this shows that cloud environments are beneficial in the deployment of applications and services in a much quicker way than conventional cases. Yet another advantage is that cloud based solutions is the aspect of scalability where the system can handle a growing amount of work and may be enlarged to accommodate further growth (In Jajodia, 2014). All these show that cloud based services are very important in the improvement of infrastructure and therefore, this paper seeks to identify what ways utilizing cloud based services can help streamline complete infrastructure.

Strategies for improving a cloud infrastructure’s reliability

Cloud based solutions are very important in the preservation and computing of practices and technologies to make difficult tasks easier. The first area where cloud-based solutions are valuable is in the conduction of power chain audits. In this case, organizations add a cloud infrastructure to an already existing data center that has a power chain audit in its pre-deployment stage (Fox & Riemann, 2012). A power chain audit usually helps in evaluating power systems and in determining their quality. This means that at this stage, the engineer concerned decides whether the system requires an upgrade or a complete change so that when cloud solutions are used, there is a suitable environment to incorporate all the demanding requirements. This is a very beneficial aspect to the servers and the whole operation as the operation is able to run continuously.

This means that the ability to capitalize on live migration and other functionalities built in servers makes this another vital aspect responsible for the reliability of the solutions. Overall, it is important to master all the challenges and to find ways of adopting technological techniques that ensure continuity, reliability, and redundancy in the respective environments.
