– The world is changing and new trends are evolving such as sharing economy (e.g., UBER), renewable energy and self-driving vehicles (e.g., Tesla), limited parking spaces available to the car drivers in big cities.  All of these trends have made a lot of pressure on the traditional auto industry to think of the ways to adapt with these changes.  Assume that you are working as a marketing consultant at one of the big traditional auto companies andyour company faces such threats and your duty is to recommend some potential market segments other than the traditional ones.

  • Explain in details the recommended market segments.
  • Each potential target segment must have a name that reflects the content of the target segment.
  • Each potential target segment has to be profiled in terms of demographic, geographic, psychographic, and behavioral characteristics.
  • Then each potential target segment should be DIRECTLY FOLLOWED by the targeting evaluation criteria:
