            In the course of the study, I incorporated the effective mechanisms in argumentative discussion in class. This was enabled by appropriate choice of the topic, which was focused. After exploration and decision-making, the position on proposition or opposition to it, was enhanced by the help of predicting opposition’s arguments. In the concession, I was able to refute several preferences and counter-arguments based on the validity of opinions. Through support from evidences and statistical research, explanations were easy to relay and show their effectiveness in the argument topic. This was enhanced by use of appropriate tone in the process.

            Process analysis involved the systematic breakdown of the context in which the argument was based on. This preceded the accurate definition of the context. In this case, use of double reading mechanism was vital in order to identify the point of view and the main points for arguments. The second reading necessitated focus on the use of language as it affected the opposing view from agreement. Ideas for the analyzing process were prepared as the structure was carefully planned. In order to identify the persuasive details, I learnt on how to construct a checklist of the process and give the verdict.

            In the topic proposal of a persuasive essay, it is worthy to note that the choice of topic is the most important step. This can be provided for as a guideline, in other cases the choice can depend on the passion with hindsight on the audience to whom it will relate. The first section in the breaking down process requires description of the topic itself. This required exploration of any controversies associated with it. The use of references and research along with the tools made up the second section. The third section involved listing of the information, which required visual aids that would be necessary through the speech delivery. I had to institute a systematic flow of the ideas and transition points in order to achieve success.

            It is worthy to note that in the initial process of speech delivery, I encountered difficulty in the analyzing phase of the information, tools, and visual aid. The deviation from point of view and contradiction with the intended vie from the opposition did not help at all. The tone and style from the persuasive element of the topic proposal contributed to the dismal display. I failed miserably and had to re-evaluate the whole process again. Evaluation required build up of the same analytical process but with critical scrutiny on the relevance of information used and the presentation format. This was further helped by attending of conferences on the same process of achieving the intended persuasion.

            Peer review workshops are fruitful through comparison of equal standards analysis and efficiency of achieved results. Preparation of the worksheets, which included logical fallacies and philosophical aid items, strengthened the resolve in the process. However, despite the positive attributes gained throughout the mid-term period, it is critical that the content be reviewed. The climate induced for understanding of the processes was more of a compelling tone rather than a contribution exercise to improve the participation of everyone. In addition, examples that resonate with the current technology, trends and teaching forms would give an enhanced and all-inclusive mechanism. In the end, achieving of the right standards in the course would be better if the process was easier to understand and incorporated.
