Personal Letter

My name is Ahmad Almutairi. I hail from the city of Kuwait. I have practically lived in Kuwait since birth. In fact, much of my education has taken place in schools within this region. Prior to joining university, I attended high school in Kuwait as well. Most of my experiences in high school were rather entertaining and fun for me. Despite that, I still managed to separate my schoolwork from my hobbies. This led to positive results, which were evidenced by the way I maintained high scores in the subjects that I learnt at the time. For instance, I managed to score a mean grade of 90 in English, which was actually my favorite subject at the time. Aside from my studies, I engaged in a variety of pastimes. With an outgoing personality and a sense of charm, it was not that difficult to attain friends and people who had similar interests as mine at the time. One of the hobbies that I loved to participate in comprised soccer. Based on how I was raised, I was always taught to view soccer as a man’s game. As such, I constantly engaged in the sport in order to gain the utmost recognition from my family and friends. Furthermore, other pastimes that I gained while in high school included writing, which assumed an important role in the performance I exhibited while undertaking English. With considerable participation in social media sites such as Facebook and personal blogs, I became interested in writing due to the strength it gave me particularly in terms of expressing my perspectives on normal issues that affected the ordinary student. As such, writing became an imperative part of my personal life. In spite of this, my weaknesses truly lie in my inability to resist from being overly personal. As such, I believe that you can assist me in inculcating objectivity in the process.
