Paraphrasing Exercise

Section 1

The virtue of loyalty that is derived from true comrades is given to the old associates with whom we share our spiritual and cultural beginnings. Indeed, we can actually engage in numerous activities when together. However, if we are not in good terms, then it is impossible to do anything. This is because we will not be able to challenge anything; otherwise, it will all separate us. As such, we vow to dedicate ourselves to longtime allies with the same origins as we possess. Together, we can accomplish numerous aspirations. On the other hand, it will be impossible for our activities to bear fruit if we are separated.

Section 2

Contrary to popular opinion, happiness is found in the pleasure of accomplishment. It does not dwell within the sheer ownership of wealth; rather, it is present in the excitement of innovative endeavors. As such, while chasing momentary gains through the motivation of work, it should be wise to note that joy cannot be found in such things. Undeniably my friends, these depressing times will eventually destroy us if they fail to teach us that man’s destiny lies in being ministered to, but actually ministering to oneself as well as other men. 

Section 3

In order to ponder on the necessary things required to rehabilitate Europe, several factors had to be measured correctly. These comprised the loss of people’s lives, the observable demolition of cities, mines, railroads, and factory plants. However, in the last few months, it became evident that the destruction that occurred was less stern in comparison to the disruption that the European economy faced. For the past decade, the region has experienced considerably irregular situations. Accordingly, the plan for conflict and the increased sustenance of the warfare attempt swallowed up all elements of the nationwide economies. Indeed, machinery is either completely outdated or in capable of being repaired.
