I believe that helping others is happiness. One can only get the joy and fulfillment in life by helping others to satisfy their needs. Making a point to give to others provides one with much joy and contentment. One does not have to be rich in order to give. Indeed, small acts of charity do much to change a person’s life. Therefore, I will help people by sharing my knowledge. I have gained many experiences throughout the years in different undertakings. I believe that sharing those experiences will help someone who might be in need. As a leader, I believe that teaching, helping, and encouraging others will be of great benefit. If each of us made the decision to share the knowledge and experiences we have, then it would go a long way towards making the society a better place. For be doing so, we would be able to learn from each other and avoid making costly mistakes.

A person can learn many lessons anywhere. One needs only open his eyes and mind to the greater possibilities. This was the case for me when I came to the US. For the first time in my life, I was exposed to diversity. There was such richness among the people because of their differences. I learnt that one should not judge others based on the color of their skin, their race, religion, or origin. I believe that each person has something to contribute and discriminating against others only limits the possibilities that one has. Therefore, I choose to stand up for equality and justice. I make a choice to stand for everyone and to respect all the people regardless of who they are. I believe in unity and cooperation among people. I believe that we can achieve much if we choose to work together and respect one another. I believe that every person is equipped with different capabilities and abilities. I believe that we can choose to use our diversity for the good and betterment of all. We can use our differences to help one another and to lift each other.

I believe that lying, bribery, and theft have destroyed communities and countries. They are the vices that destroy people’s lives. They have robbed many people and the greater community of opportunities. They have led to hatred, strife, and conflict within the society. Satisfying the selfish needs of one person by engaging in such vices will not help to improve the situation of the greater community. Talking about the vices will not help much if there is nothing done to change the situation. I believe that there is a need for people to rise up and denounce these evils. Failure to do so will only worsen the situation. The poor will continue suffering and injustice will continue. The law will not rule and it will no longer have the authority it has. People will no longer have confidence in their leaders. It begins by saying no to such vices. I believe that if each of us were to look beyond our present and consider the future, then we would not allow such vices to continue

I believe in the future. I believe that we can make the choice to have a better day. Tomorrow is another time and place. It will give us a chance to make the changes that we want to see. Tomorrow will come and we will be ready. Those who do not believe in tomorrow will not see the day and they will not realize their dreams. I believe in tomorrow and I live each day waiting and striving to see the dreams I have realized. Tomorrow will come when everything will be clear. If we work today, improve what we can today, and live with expectations, then we shall have hope for a better future.
