            Journalism has taken a different change from its objectivity in reporting of the happenings and its impact to the society towards a shift in the emotional relativity as brought out by the authors, perpetrators or instigators. In terms of the interactions on politics and matters of governance, journalism used to articulate the details surrounding decision-making, analysis of the aspects towards the citizens and the required changes expected in amendment. Journalism was responsible for logical and ethical dissection by both the public and those in authorities on matters of national importance and accord to governance. However, the change effected to the present mechanisms has shifted towards the emotional side of journalism, which ideally is quite detrimental. Instead of focusing on the content, the objectivity aimed at emotional outpour and reaction determines the newsworthy and attention of the information.

            Current standards are driven by the real-time news delivery audiences. For example, rather than the magazines, newspapers and network newscasts enabling the agendas, alternatives are used. The alternative measures have been increased through online sources like social media, internet, personal contributors and sensational figures. Judgments are passed on how the news information resonates to the select-few rather than its impact to the society based on principles. The results of such changes have affected politics of the country. In such instances, scandals seem to thrive and drive the news despite the essence of politics and policies in the authorities’ heads. Personalities, who coinciding wit-laden newsmakers seem to dictate information as opposed to those with content-based issues, should be discouraged. Society has to be vigilant on eradication mechanism of emotional causes towards information to the masses rather than content analysis on policies, which shape their lives and governance of the country.
